HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED?
An improved skin appearance can be noted after the first session. Multiple sessions provide even better results. Treatments depend on the severity of skin damage, type of treatment (vascular vs sun damage) and energy settings.
PRE-TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS:
Avoid any type of tanning 3-4 weeks prior to treatment or use at least 30 SPF sunblock. This includes spray tans and tanning beds. Avoid irritant topical agents for 2-3 days prior to treatment. Avoid anticoagulants for 7-10 days prior to treatment, if medically permitted. Hydate! We always recommend drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING AND AFTER LUMECCA?
During treatment there will be a bright flash of light from the Lumecca that feels like a light elastic sensation. You may request a numbing cream for 30 minutes prior to treatment. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal after treatment and usually subsides within an hour. Slight swelling can occur, but usually subsides in 1-3 days. Over the next 24-48 hours you may see a darkening of pigmented spots; in the week following the pigmented lesions flake off, evening out skin tone. Sunscreen of at 30 SPF or greater must be worn at all times during the day. Moisturized may be applied after each treatment. Make-up may be applied immediately after the treatment.
HOW QUICKLY WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Sun damage and skin complexion results can be seen a few days after the first session. The skin will continue to look younger and more brilliant over time with most visible results after 1-2 weeks. Having multiple Lumecca sessions will improve the final result.

WHAT IS DIOLAZE? Diolaze is an advanced laser hair removal procedure that safely and gently eliminates unwanted hair. HOW DOES DIOLAZE WORK? During laser treatment, a diode laser beam passes through the skin towards hair follicles. The penetrating energy then heats up the root of the hair, which in turn prevents future hair growth.

WHY DO I NEED MULTIPLE TREATMENTS TO ACHIEVE HAIR REMOVAL? As with all laser hair removal methods. Diolaze requires a series of treatments. Laser hair removal works best when hair follicles are in their mature stage, however, at any given time, your hair is in various stages of growth. Clients undergo an average of six sessions to remove hair.
PRE-TREATMENT: Avoid any tanning (including tanning beds and spray tans) 3 weeks prior to treatment. Use at least 30
SPF sun block. Shave hair. No waxing, tweezing or electrolysis in the treatment area. Once the hair has been taken out, there will be no follicle for us to get heat to.
